Ruinart, Brut Rose

Ruinart is the longest established house in all of Champagne, and was established as a business in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart.  It has survived and thrived, even when the Ruinart offices took direct hits during the Battle of the Marne in World War 1.  The house style is fresh, with a dominance of Chardonnay over the two Pinots.  The Ruinart Brut Rose has a bold, salmon pink hue.  The nose includes an appealing mix of minerals and red fruits mixed with cream.  The palate is firm, balanced and structured.
